ENGLISH

The Italian term giornata stands for a day work phase. In connection of fresco painting, we understand an area, which can be covered by a layer of intonaco (thin and smooth layer of lime mortar) which can be painted within one day.

When deciding about the shape of giornate, we should respect the lines between different colour areas, because it will help us to make the bordering lines less visible. It is not recommended to lead the giornata lines through areas of one colour shade.

Italský výraz giornata znamená denní pracovní fáze. V souvislosti s freskovou malbou giornatou rozumíme oblast, kterou lze pokrýt vrstvou intonaco (tenkou a hladkou vrstvou jemné vápenné malty), kterou lze namalovat pigmenty během jednoho dne.

Při rozhodování o tvaru giornat bychom měli respektovat linie mezi různými barevnými oblastmi, což umožní, aby byly spoje méně viditelné. Není vhodné vést linii giornaty plochami jednoho barevného odstínu.

Włoski termin giornata oznacza zakres jednodniowej pracy. W przypadku malowania fresków, przez giornatę rozumiemy obszar tynku zwanego intonaco (cienka i gładka warstwa zaprawy wapiennej), który można pomalować wieloma warstwami barwników ciągu jednego dnia.

Decydując się na kształt giornat powinniśmy posłużyć się liniami na rysunku, które mogą być jednocześnie liniami dzielącymi obszary o różnych kolorach.

Nie zaleca się prowadzenia linii podziału giornat przez obszary jednego odcienia koloru.

Der italienische Begriff Giornata steht für eine Tagarbeitsphase. Unter Freskomalerei versteht man eine Fläche, die mit einer Schicht Intonaco (dünne und glatte Schicht aus Kalkmörtel) bedeckt werden kann, welche innerhalb eines Tages bemalt werden kann.

Bei der Entscheidung über die Form von Giornate sollten wir die Linien zwischen verschiedenen Farbbereichen berücksichtigen, da dies uns hilft, die Grenzlinien weniger sichtbar zu machen. Es wird nicht empfohlen, die Giornata-Linien durch Bereiche mit einem Farbton bzw. ganze Flächen zu führen.

Le terme italien giornata désigne une phase de travail d'un jour. En ce qui concerne la peinture à fresque, il s'agit de la zone enduite le jour même et qui peut être peinte en une journée.

Lorsqu'on décide les limites des giornate, il faut suivre une ligne entre les différentes zones de couleur, pour rendre les raccords d'enduits moins visibles. Il n'est pas recommandé de faire passer les lignes de giornata à travers des zones d'une seule nuance de couleur.
